Why Choose Made to Order or On-Demand?

Made to order, also known as on-demand, means a garment is made once it’s ordered. This gives you the ability to customize your garment by choosing details like colors, trim options, hem length – or even adding pockets (yes, pockets). And, because each piece is made one at a time using only the materials necessary, it reduces 90% of the waste from traditional fashion supply chains with no excess inventory, which we love! It also allows us to operate a direct-to-consumer model which lowers pricing and encourages a more personal relationship with our customers. Not only that, but we make our garments right here in the United States to ensure good working conditions and a living wage. We’ve also teamed up with fabric reseller, Queen of Raw, for pieces we can’t use in the future to avoid sending them to the landfill. The result?

This is how it works:

Start with a complimentary consultation with our Founder, Sheri Turnbow or order your favorite style on the site. You start by choosing your dress style and then choose either classic black or a custom color. Add any additional options to your order and any special hem length in the notes section. As soon as we receive your order, we will be in touch to confirm the details. We can send you swatches of available fabric colors to ensure you have just the exact shade you envision. And, voila! Your made to order garment is being created and will soon be on its way to you!
