BESPOKE SOUTHERLY FAQ’s
Why should I choose made to order?
Made to order gives you the ability to customize your dress by choosing details like fabric color, trim options and hem length – or even adding pockets. A made to order dress truly reflects your personal style and is made specifically for you. And, it’s more environmentally friendly. Because each dress is made one at a time using only the materials necessary, there is less waste in manufacturing, which we love. Not only that, but we make our dresses here in the United States to ensure good working conditions and a living wage. We’ve also teamed up with a fabric reseller for fabric pieces we can’t use in the future to avoid sending them to the landfill. The result? One dress, beautifully made, that not everyone else is wearing.
How long will it take to receive my dress?
Once your final order is placed the items are made-to-order by our seamstresses and garment manufacturing partners, here in the USA. Standard orders ship within 21 days or less of order placement. Special Orders often take longer so plan for 4 or more weeks. We will send you an email keeping you updated and to let you know when your order ships. We promise it will be worth the wait!

Can you help me choose my fabric and colors?
When choosing your fabric and your color keep in mind that screen resolution can enhance or dull the texture of the fabric or the colors on a webpage. Fabric swatches are available so you can see our collection of fabric and colors before you order if you are unsure which to choose. Choosing in-stock colors means seamstresses begin to make your dress right away. Additional color choices are available where the fabric needs to be ordered so those dresses will take longer to make – usually about an additional week to two weeks and are considered Special Order items. Request fabric swatches or contact us for style advice at firstname.lastname@example.org.
